Hershel G. Hogenson grew up in Denison, Texas and resided there until 1998. He then made a move to neighboring Pottsboro where he now has his home and office. Hershel was introduced to the construction trades at age 7, working part-time for his grandfather in the insulation and fence businesses. At age 21 he contracted his first home, doing much of the labor himself.
He later accepted a position at the Denison Fire Department which allowed him to continue his construction trade as a remodeler, builder, and rental property owner. After 14 years of service as a firefighter, Hershel left the department and his duties as a paramedic/lieutenant to pursue his real estate interests. At one point, he owned 40 duplexes, several single family homes, 2 strip shopping centers, several acreage tracts, and warehouses.
Hershel has been ingenious in his innovations. In fact, the North Slope development in Pottsboro was originally conceived by him and has become one of the fastest growing developments in Grayson County. Doing business under H H Homes, Hogenson Inc. and N-Site Development, Hershel strives for quality and to produced properties which are a cut above other builders. His focus lies in west Denison, Pottsboro, and the Lake Texoma area.
